How do I get a library card?

This year, 2025-2026, library passes WILL NOT be issued to students. The library will NOT BE available for students to come to during their Study Hall like in past years. If a student needs to print or needs a resource in the Library, they can ask the Librarian - msheedy@bridge-rayn.org
Just bring the books you have chosen to the Circulation Desk which is located opposite the main entrance of the library. The library staff will check out books to you. Up to 10 books may be borrowed for 2 weeks. Books may be renewed if there are no holds placed on them by another library patron. When the library is open, you may return books at the Circulation Desk. When the library is closed, you may return books through the return slot at the library entrance.
You are responsible to return library materials on time and in good condition for the next user. A fine of 5 cents per day per book is charged for books returned after their due date. Students are charged the cost of replacing lost or damaged books, plus a $5 processing fee per item.
The greatest resource for locating books in the library is the library staff. Please feel free to ask questions of the staff - helping you find information is the main part of their job! Library staff can show you how to use the library catalog and other databases available to you in the library. The library catalog is accessible from every computer in the library, and since it is web-based, you can access it from your computer at home, too.
There are 24 computers for student use in the library. Of course, computers are to be used for school purposes only, as you agreed when you signed our school's Acceptable Use Policy. The library computer lab, which may be reserved by a teacher for class research, has an additional 32 computers.
